A beach city in southeastern Buenos Aires province at the mouth of the Quequén Grande River, combining sea and river fishing. Croaker, pescadilla and flounder off the jetties, beaches and the river itself.
You fish from shore (surfcasting off the beaches and port jetties) and from a boat, with the best windows depending on the tides. The Quequén River adds pejerrey and other species in its final stretch. Necochea offers all the infrastructure of a coastal city.
