PESQA comes from a familiar problem: planning a trip meant piecing together scattered tips and hoping for the best. Here are the spots, the seasons and the guides, checked.
My name is Juan Fontana and I've fished for as long as I can remember. My dad took me out as a kid; I learned beside my grandfather, my brother and my godfather. I never stopped.
Fishing in Argentina is among the best in the world — and yet planning a trip is still a lost WhatsApp group, an “I know a guy”, and a deposit paid blind. Finding a good guide shouldn't come down to luck.
PESQA grew out of that simple frustration: one place where an angler finds what they need — real guides and lodges, the species with their seasons, reports on how the water is running — and where the community meets and shares what it knows. Find it, understand it and live it, all in one place.

Real data, nothing made up
We've mapped 772 spots across the whole country, with verified access, permits, target species and peak seasons. When we don't know something, we say so. Photos and reviews come from the community and real businesses.
How we earn your trust
Guides and businesses claim and verify their profiles. Bookings and payments are secure. Your data's security is enforced at the database level, not just on screen.
