Arroyo de la zona de Las Lajas y el valle de Codihue, en el centro-oeste neuquino, donde la estepa empieza a trepar hacia la cordillera. Es un ambiente de agua chica: correderas cortas, pozones y sauces, con truchas que no suelen ser gigantes pero compensan con actitud.
La pesca es la clásica de arroyo precordillerano: caminar mucho, acercarse agachado y tirar corto. Con mosca, secas y ninfas pequeñas en equipos livianos; con spinning, cucharitas giratorias y señuelos mínimos en los pozones. Las truchas de estos ambientes son desconfiadas, así que la primera pasada por cada pozo es la que vale. En términos generales rinde mejor con el agua acomodada de fines de primavera y el verano, cuando el deshielo aflojó y el arroyo corre claro. Es pesca de búsqueda y de disfrute del entorno más que de porte: ideal para una jornada tranquila lejos de las multitudes.

Se accede desde Las Lajas, en el centro-oeste de Neuquén; buena parte del arroyo corre por zona de campos, así que consultá localmente por accesos y pedí permiso donde corresponda.
Hace falta el Permiso de Pesca Continental Patagónico, disponible online y en oficinas de turismo o casas de pesca. Revisá el reglamento vigente de la temporada antes de ir.
