El río Quinto o Chadileuvú, que baja desde San Luis y se abre en el este pampeano como un típico río de llanura: manso, sinuoso, entre juncales y campo abierto. Acá el pejerrey comparte las aguas con la tararira, la carpa, el dientudo y el bagre sapo, una mezcla bien de llanura.
El pejerrey se pesca a la deriva o de costa, con líneas de varias brazoladas cebadas con mojarra, siempre atento al pique sutil y a los cardúmenes que se mueven con el sol. En verano la tararira sale a cazar entre la vegetación, con señuelos de superficie y acero en el bajo de línea por los dientes, mientras la carpa aguanta a fondo cebada con masa o maíz en el agua templada; el dientudo y el bagre sapo completan una pesca bien variada. En general, el pejerrey rinde con el agua fresca del otoño a la primavera y la tararira en el calor. Agua quieta, mate largo y cielo enorme.
Tararira: devolucion obligatoria. Del 1 sep al 30 nov pesca solo vie/sab/dom y feriados. Cupos: pejerrey max 25 (min 25 cm), bagre sapo max 5 (min 30 cm), dientudo max 15 (min 10 cm). Carpa sin limite todo el ano.
