A species introduced from Eurasia, hardy and large, now abundant in lagoons and reservoirs across the country. Omnivorous and very resilient, it can exceed ten kilos. It is caught on the bottom with dough, corn or boilies, and gives a strong, dogged fight that is increasingly valued by sport anglers.
