A lagoon in southwestern Buenos Aires province, near Monte Hermoso and the Sauce Grande river basin, with pejerrey (silverside) and tararira. A broad sheet of water between dunes and farmland, close to the Atlantic coast.
The pejerrey is fished drifting from a boat and from shore, best in the cooler months; the tararira appears in summer. Its closeness to Monte Hermoso lets you combine lagoon fishing with sea fishing on the same trip.
At Sauce Grande Lagoon (Buenos Aires) you can catch Argentinian silverside (pejerrey), Trahira (tararira). Allowed styles: Boat, Shore, Spinning, Lagoon.
