A lagoon in the Lezama district, in the Buenos Aires Salado basin, with shallow waters surrounded by grasslands and marshes, holding pejerrey (silverside) and tararira. A quiet lake in the heart of the province pejerrey country.
The pejerrey is fished drifting from a boat and from shore, best in autumn and winter; the tararira gives lure action in summer. It is near Chascomús and the chain-of-lagoons circuit, with access and services in the area.
