Part of the Encadenadas chain of lagoons in western Buenos Aires, next to Bonifacio and Guaminí, a system of large pejerrey (silverside) lagoons with slightly salty water. Pejerrey and tararira out on the open pampas.
The pejerrey is fished drifting from a boat and from shore, with a very good season in the cooler months. The Encadenadas area is a historic pejerrey destination, with clubs, beach spots and ramps in Guaminí and the neighboring towns.
