The largest salt lagoon in South America, now Ansenuza National Park, in northeastern Córdoba. An inland sea of salt water where pejerrey (silverside) fishing concentrates at the mouths of the rivers that feed it.
The pejerrey is sought from shore and from a boat, especially where the Dulce River and other inflows pour in fresh water. It is also a site of enormous natural value, with flamingos and migratory birds. Miramar de Ansenuza is the service base.
