How we read the bite
Each spot's color comes from the real calendar of its species: when they come into season and when they truly bite, in Argentina time. A dorado doesn't bite in midwinter, so its spot won't turn green in July.
- They're biting! Some species at that spot is at its best moment of the year, right now.
- In season There are species in season, but none at their peak.
- Quiet / closed Its species are out of season: cold water or a closure in effect.
- No data We haven't logged what's caught there yet. We'd rather not invent it.
